Offer Description
The research aims to analyze the chemical behaviour in environmental conditions and the physical-mechanical characteristics of silicate glasses, typically float, subjected to specific reinforcement processes through chemical tempering an, eventually, micro-worked on the surface using laser technologies. Keywords: sodium calcium silicate glass, borosilicate glass, chemical tempering, chemical durability, laser micro-machining, mechanical strength, surface damage, residual stresses.
