99 local EURAXESS Centres (as of February 2023) provide researchers and their families with information and assistance relating to mobility to and from their research institutions, including advice on visa and entry conditions, social security rights and employment. The local EURAXESS Centres are an excellent source of knowledge in all matters related to researchers' mobility.
Services of the German EURAXESS Network are free of charge.
You can find your relevant EURAXESS Centre in the list on the right. Centers are listed alphabetically according to the city in which they are registered (for example, the Ruhr University with its seat in Bochum is listed under B).

59 German EURAXESS Centres are members of the European EURAXESS Network (as of February 2023).

Twice a year, EURAXESS Germany provides conferences for researcher advisors working at institutions of higher education in Germany and providing advice and support to internationally mobile researchers. EURAXESS Germany conferences are offered both as centralised and decentralised events.
Centralised conferences usually take place in Bonn and are organised by EURAXESS Germany, whereas decentralised conferences are organised by members of the EURAXESS Germany network and are held at their university or research institute.
In addition to up-to-date information on relevant topics for researcher advisors, the conferences also provide a forum for exchange and networking.

The decentralised EURAXESS Conference 2023 will take place on 1 and 2 June 2023 at the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen. The overarching topics of the event will be Visibility - Networking - Communication.
The central EURAXESS conference will take place in late November 2023 in Bonn. Information on agenda and other aspects will be posted here in due time.
The decentralised EURAXESS Conference 2022 took place on 7 and 8 June 2022 at the Leibniz University of Hannover. The overarching topic of the event was "A Research Stay with Family: Supporting Internationally Mobile Researchers and Their Families". The agenda of the event can be downloaded here.
On 28 and 29 November 2022, the central EURAXESS conference took place as a face-to-face event in Bonn. 130 participants from all over Germany were admitted to the conference. Guest speakers included representatives of the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB) on the topic of "Certificate Evaluation and the Recognition Procedure for Foreign Higher Education Qualifications and the anabin Database" and the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft on legal aspects of the cross-border mobility of researchers.
The decentralised EURAXESS Conference 2021 took place between 10 and 12 March 2021 as a digital event in cooperation with the University of Passau. The topic of the event was "Sustainable Welcome Services through Networking and Process Optimising". The agenda can be downloaded

The decentralised EURAXESS Conference 2020 was planned for 16 and 17 April 2020 at the University of Passau and had to be postponed due to the corona pandemic. It took place between 10 and 12 March 2021 as a digital event coordinated by the University of Passau.
