Conducting lectures, leading seminars, and carrying out other forms of direct pedagogical work as defined in the regulations of UP,
Coordinating and supervising the work of other subject instructors and assessing students’ knowledge in accordance with syllabi and professional standards,
Mentoring/co-mentoring final theses in accordance with UP regulations,
Participating in the development and updating of course syllabi and in the adaptation and implementation of study programs to meet professional development needs, including planning and preparing appropriate study materials and literature,
Engaging in scientific research, integrating research findings into the teaching process, and participating in pedagogical and research-related activities in the relevant field,
Guiding student research and academic activities,
Holding consultation hours and office hours for students,
Participating in appointment procedures for academic titles at UP,
Performing other professional and developmental tasks,
Participating in the work of the faculty’s and university’s governing bodies, working groups, and committees,
Carrying out other tasks as assigned by superiors.

Skills/Qualifications

Specific Requirements

Special requirements:

valid election to the position of Associate Professor in the field of Law (in accordance with the Criteria for Elections to Positions at the University of Primorska dated 19 October 2022) or fulfillment of the conditions for election to the aforementioned position,
proficiency in computer use,
experience and enthusiasm for teaching,
ability to work in a team,
organizational skills,
ability to provide advice,
independence,
communicativeness,
practical skills.

Desired skills and abilities:

aptitude for working with students,
ability to write and edit various (including complex) types of texts,
adaptability and flexibility,
willingness to participate in additional training and development programs, both domestically and internationally,
desire for continuous professional, pedagogical, and scientific-research development in the subject area,
active knowledge of a world language – English,
a driver's license (category B) is an advantage.
