Tasks

Use of a microfluidics rig for membrane synthesis.

Synthesis of polymeric membranes.

Synthesis of MOF based membranes.

Membrane characterization.

Membrane application to nanofiltration and gas separation.

Selection process

CV, 20%

Mark in the PhD thesis, 10%

JCR publications related to the above described profile, 10%

 

Expertise related to the requested profile and tasks to carry out, 80%

Synthesis of MOFs (MIL-88A, MIL-88B, MIL-53, ZIF-93, HKUST-1) and microfluidic synthesis, 20%

Membrane preparation by phase inversion, interfacial polymerization and crystallization, 30%

Expertise in encapsulation and nanofiltration and gas separation, 30%

Offer Requirements

Skills/Qualifications

Chemical Engineering degree + Chemical Engineering master + PhD in Chemical Engineering.

Expertise in:

i) synthesis of MOFs (ZIF-11, ZIF-93, MIL-68(Al), MIL-101(Cr));

ii) microfluidic synthesis;

iii) membrane preparation by phase inversion, interfacial polymerization and crystallization;

iv) membrane synthesis by interfacial polymerization and crystallization;

v) nanofiltration and gas separation.
