We are looking for a motivated and talented individual to work on an exciting project regarding hyperpolarized xenon and 4D flow MRI. The project is part of the newly funded collaborative research center BULK REACTION and is located in Kiel, Germany (ocean side). The position is embedded in the Molecular Imaging North Competence Center (MOIN CC) with great colleagues and access to state of the art equipment incl. 1.5T, 3T, 7T MRIs and 400 MHz NMR, parahydrogen hyperpolarization and DNP.
The position is funded to 100 % and we support you in developing your scientific carrier in many ways.
The Postdoctoral Researcher will receive the standard employment contract for researchers and receive a salary according to the statutory collective wage agreements (Tarifvertrag) which the University is legally required to apply. He or she will be appointed on one of six possible spinal points within grade 13 of the salary scale. The spinal point will depend on the relevant past research experience fellow and is determined be the HR department based on the fellow’s supporting documents (employment contracts, degree certificates etc). Currently grade 13 ranges from about 4800€ to 6900€ for a full-time monthly employers’ gross salary (i.e. including all employer’s and employee’s on-costs). Any statutory salary increases will be passed on immediately to the researcher.
Completed doctorate desirable.
