The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation to policy and education. What we are looking for:
We are seeking applicants for a full time laboratory technician post to work on the preparation of the blood biobank of an international European epidemiological project on child cohorts.
Main duties and tasks:
Develop a protocol for the preparation and shipping of the samples from the RHEA cohort in Crete, prepare the samples and organise the shipment to ISGlobal.
Interact with the international team organising the study.
- Duration: 4 months
- Starting date: as soon as possible
- Location: Barcelona - Campus Mar and Hearaklion - Crete

Knowledge of laboratory techniques for preparation of large number of blood samples for further lab analyses
Candidates must have an earned degree in biology or a related discipline by the position start date, and experience in handling biological samples in child cohorts.
