  • Federation and Federal State programme for women professors (in German)
    Based on German universities' forward-looking concepts for gender equality, kick-off funding has been made available for the initial appointment of women to tenured W2 or W3 professorships. The appointment may be made in respect of a position becoming vacant or to be created in future (early appointment) or of a position which is already vacant (regular appointment). Over a maximum period of 5 years, up to 3 initial appointments per university may be funded. As the first round of the programme was successfully evaluated, it was extended for five more years.
