ABG (Association Bernard Gregory) is a non-profit organization founded in 1980. Its mission is to bring together doctorate holders and employers. To be more specific, it helps PhD students and PhD graduates from all scientific fields to steer their career. It also helps companies recruit PhDs.

Our services for PhD students and PhD graduates:

  • Training and coaching on career development and international mobility: job search strategy, efficient communication in the entire application process, training for Assessment Center, Franco-German career workshop, working as a researcher in France…

  • An evolutive and online skills portfolio DocPro to help them to pinpoint the skills they developed during their doctorate and to increase their communication efficiency towards employers, especially by giving appropriate examples from their own experience.

Create your own profile :

  • Employment: a jobboard where positions in academia and industry can be found (mostly but not only in France) as well as thesis offers in all disciplines; a CV-database where they can upload their profile

  • Networking on social media (LinkedIn, Twitter) and through our networking events "Apéro Doc"

ABG also offers different services to employers who want to find highly qualified staff and increase their employer branding on an international level: posting job ads, downloading CV, communicating on banner ads…

Together with the Franco-German University, a Franco-German branch office has been created to focus on researcher’s mobility between France and Germany and more largely on the European level.
