It is not only the internationally mobile researchers themselves who need networks, but those who advise and support them at institutions of higher education and research in Germany, too. In the context of the EU-wide project
EURAXESS - Researchers in Motion, the National Coordination Point of EURAXESS Germany at the
Alexander von Humboldt Foundation provides a platform for researcher advisors.
Workshops for researcher advisors
Sessions are held regularly on topics relating to researcher mobility which specifically target researcher advisors. Visit
here for details of future workshops as well as the programmes and papers presented at previous events.
Next workshop: The next workshop for researcher advisors will take place on 10 and 11 May 2012 in Bonn.
NEW: Decentral EURAXESS Workshop 2012
In November/December 2012, the EURAXESS Workshop will once again be held decentrally at a university or research institution. Universities and research institutions that are registered as EURAXESS Services Centres are eligible to apply to host the workshop.
The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation is thus extending the successful concept of the last two years, giving the members of the EURAXESS Network an opportunity to continue introducing their own ideas and initiatives for running the event.
Closing date for applications: 05 April 2012

Notes on publishing information:
One of the objectives of "EURAXESS Germany" is to support researcher advisers in their efforts to provide optimum information and advice for internationally mobile researchers. In order to be able to do this, researcher advisers must post relevant information on the websites of their own universities and research institutes.
Researcher advisers who are registered with the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation may refer to the texts that are available at "EURAXESS Germany" (www.euraxess.de). This means that you may link to EURAXESS Germany from your own websites. You may also publish information from the EURAXESS Germany web portal directly on your own websites on the condition that you cite EURAXESS Germany/Alexander von Humboldt Foundation as your source and indicate that we cannot accept any liability. Please refer to the relevant information in our
impressum.
